Sziget Festival 2018: Sziget brings together over 565,000 people for a Love Revolution
Europe’s answer to Glastonbury celebrated its 26th year with over 1000 shows across seven days and 60 venues with Kendrick Lamar, Gorillaz, Lana Del Rey, Mumford & Sons, Dua Lipa, Arctic Monkeys and Kygo headlining in the heart of Budapest.

Het programma van Sziget 2017 is nog steeds niet uitgegroeid. Dit keer voegen Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Biffy Clyro, Birdy, Bakermat en zes andere artiesten zich bij de eerder aangekondigde namen. Op meer dan 50 venues zijn tussen 9 en 16 augustus honderden acts te zien op het kleurrijke Óbuda-eiland in Boedapest.
Sziget Festival 2017: 18 New names
Sziget Festival, the one-week music and arts festival, will once again have a colorful and exciting line-up. This time Kasabian, Interpol, Billy Talent, Flume, Crystal Fighters, Charli XCX and many more have been added. The 25th Island of Freedom will be held on a beautiful green island in the middle of Budapest between 9-16 August, 2017.
Sziget Festival wins prizes at Eurosonic
Every year the most prestigious awards of the European festival scene are handed out at Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen. Sziget Festival was shortlisted in multiple categories and this time it earned the very prestigious title: Artists’ Favourite Festival in Europe. SzigetFestival, celebrating its 25th edition this year, received multiple awards in the previous years and this new award is also a great feedback and motivation to continue on road of continuous success.
Sziget Festival 2017: First names
Sziget Festival, the Island of Freedom, a week-long festival holiday in Budapest has just announced the first 14 names of the line-up. The announcement series will be continuous from now on, featuring not only music, but contemporary theatre, circus, art and many more! Sziget Festival 2015: More Names and Activities
