Dour Festival 2013: Hip Hop And More
Action Bronson is the US hip-hop phenomenon of the moment, having collaborated with such leading figures as Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Joey Bada$$ and Danny Brown. But it's with us that he will be spending Thursday 18th July for the inauguration of the new Boombox stage on the Plaine de la Machine à Feu.
Dour Festival 2013: More namesAnother act not to miss is Robert Glasper Experiment. Fresh from the Grammy's with an award for best R&B album of the year in the bag, he will be bringing his original fusion of jazz and afro-american music to the festival .
Further acts filling the Boombox are the underground Detroit rap duo Apollo Brown & Guilty Simpson and the gangster rap artist Freddie Gibbs. For those who enjoyed C2C's live show last year, the Lyon trio Scratch Bandits Crew will bring similar pleasure this year with their inventive scratch hip-hop.
In underground New York hip-hop we have the Grace Jones of the genre, the beguiling Zebra Katz, already with Diplo under his spell.
And finally we are extremely pleased to be able to welcome the French outfit Deluxe, completing a line-up that already contains Wax Tailor, Gramatik and Tha Trickaz.
More confirmations will be made public in the next few days.
Tickets are available now.
