Dour Festival 2013: Mike Patton

Dour Festival 2013

Mike Patton has made any number of appearances at Dour Festival - with Faith No More, Fantômas, and Peeping Tom, for example. After he recently released the new Tomahawk album, it was impossible for us not to see if he wanted to come back and celebrate our anniversary with his supergroup, made up of Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard, Unsemble), John Stanier (Battles, Helmet), and Trevor 'field mouse' Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Fantômas, etc.). This is an exclusive concert not to be missed - be at the Last Arena on Thursday 18th July!

Dour Festival 2013: Mike Patton and other names

The next day, we will be welcoming the great Mark Lanegan to the stage. He too is back in the news, having announced that he will be appearing on the new Queens Of The Stone Age album.

At Dour, we love rock'n'roll. That's why we have invited the San Francisco band Thee Oh Sees for their first ever appearance. And for those who liked the nocturnal set by the Experimental Tropic Blues Band in 2012, or for those who are fans of bands like the Black Lips, we've invited the Spanish group Mujeres - we're sure you're going to love them too.

And one big favourite of ours for you to discover this year will be the Canadian indie-pop group Young Rival, who've also confirmed their appearance at the festival .

There will be more names in the coming days.
