Dour Festival 2013: Hardcore Names

Dour Festival 2013

After a triumphant 2007 festival , the kings of hardcore are back at Dour! CONVERGE, and their 10th album 'All We Love We Leave Behind', released in 2012, will be at the festival to give us a furious and energetic performance.

Dour Festival 2013: More metal artists

TERROR need no introduction. For their 3rd Dour Festival , we are simply expecting a concert as mad as in 2011. Or perhaps even madder.

The post-hardcore scene will be represented by the Welsh group FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND, while SKINDRED, of ex-Dub War renown, will be back and ready to set the festival alight with his ragga and hip-hop influenced metal/punk, just as he did back in 2011.

And the Belgian hardcore scene won’t be left behind - LENGTH OF TIME will be back in familiar surroundings, playing tracks from their promising new EP ‘Let The World With The Sun Go Down’.

For those who prefer sludge and post-rock, we are pleased to have been able to invite TORCHE back to the festival after their 2010 cancellation. The stoner/sludge group will be presenting their latest album, ‘Homonicraft’, which came out in 2012. Playing the same day, we will also have PELICAN, an instrumental post-rock group from Chicago, and MAYBESHEWILL, an English group of a similar disposition: playing a form of math-rock peppered with electronics, the Leicester group are sure to offer an intense live show.

More names will be announced in the coming days.
